Daniel Craig and the watch company Omega have supported the organization of Orbis, which helps people with eye diseases and blindness. Established in 1982, the organization implements programs to train and provide equipment and tools for doctors in 88 countries. Thanks to it about 12 million patients worldwide have benefited by ophthalmologists’ help.
The company Omega has created in stock a new watch model Omega Hour Vision Blue with 41 mm body clock, made of stainless steel. The model is equipped with an automatic mechanism Omega Co-Axial 8500, certified as a chronometer. Part of the funds ($1 million), proceeds from the timepieces sale, will be credited to the fund of Orbis.
“I think we should do everything possible to attract public attention to the work of Orbis. Our plan is to visit the organization’s clinics around the world, and thus to bring the attention to the problem of blindness and pay as much attention to those who can help. I am very pleased that the company Omega supports my initiative, “- said Daniel Craig during a visit to one of the hospitals in this year’s Orbis.
