The world’s biggest watch manufacturer, the Swiss company Swatch, opened its new building in Tokyo. Thus, the new building became the company’s headquarters for the watch market of Japan.

The center’s first floors are built for sales and customer care. Seven stores of “Nicolas G. Hayek” offer various products of the group. It is worth mentioning that the company includes such brands as: Breguet, Blancpain, Jaquet Droz, Glash?tte Original, Union Glash?tte, L?on Hatot, Omega, Rado, Longines, Swatch, Tissot, Calvin Klein, Certina, Mido, Pierre Bal-main, Hamilton, Flik Flak and Endura and each one of them has its customized elevator. Thus, customers have the feeling of being in the store of their choice even when they haven’t entered it.
More than 400 people will soon work in Swatch’s new center. Swatch Group looks forward to stick to its strategy of opening large centers in the center of cities. It is worth mentioning that the company is already the owner of a prestigious building located in the center of Shanghai. The officials from Swatch stated that in case the company has the opportunity to open its new centers in Paris or London, it won’t hesitate.
Swatch Group expects its center to achieve 10 percent of the company’s annual sales in Japan.
