The two moons functions work simultaneously, while the moon disc does not move at all. Instead, the engraved globe disc with two blue circular surfaces moves. The subsidiary countdown scale shows the day number remaining for the new full moon appearance.

In reality I love red gold the most but in this case consider the white gold new model, decorated with that mystic twilight blue dial more attractive and even nobler. It is hard to deny the chic which silver-plated small hands and moon disc add to the original color of the new IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar model with blue dial!
