To celebrate the Monaco watch line’s 40th birthday, Tag Heuer has launched new cool Tag Heuer Monaco 24 Concept Chronograph watch.
The creation of that sophisticated latest in the Tag Heuer Monaco line, watch was inspired by the phenomenally powerful GT race cars of the 24 hours of Le Mans. To the commemoration of the data 24 Tag Heuer Monaco twenty four Concept Chronograph has an oversize “24” at 12 o’clock and the emblematic blue and orange livery of Gulf Oil – the same colors Steve McQueen, Tag Heuer Ambassador wore in the film “Le Mans”.
Among the main innovative features of the Tag Heuer Monaco 24 Concept Chronograph watch model are extreme shock-protected components, able to withstand an impact of 24,000 G, the equivalent of a 20-metre fall. It is so because of the special materials used in aerospace and auto racing, implemented against shock and torque.
Again, the TAG Heuer Calibre 36 movement (36.000 beats/hour) “floats” inside the oversized (40.5mm) black PVD-coated case. Suspended within a steel-tube housing, the device resembles a race car driver’s protective cockpit cage.
The watch model has 100 meters water resistance. The curved sapphire scratch-resistant crystal fits anti-reflective double-sided treatment. The black PVD-coated case of the watch is a bit oversized – 40.5mm.
