As we all know the newborn brand named HYT is going to debut at Baselworld 2012 with its first watch model Hydro Mechanical Watch HYT H1. This brand is the first which uses revolutionary hydro-mechanical technology in watchmaking. In the article I will show you how HYT H1 really works.
Through the transparent tube which is rotating around the HYT H1 watch dial you can see the hollow filled with liquid luminescent yellow-green fluid. This fluid actually indicates the hours. The 2 bellows are used to push the yellow-green fluid and to draw it back. Those bellows are controlled by the movement mechanism in order to tell what hour is it.
Unfortunately for engine geeks, minutes are indicated in more traditional way – through a large sub dial located at 12 o’clock. If you are in need to see the seconds dial – turn to 9 o’clock and check the water turbine-like seconds dial. Power reserve indicator lies harmoniously at 3 o’clock.
Good news about Hydro Mechanical Watch HYT H1 is that one can choose from at least 3 different case materials: DLC black-coated titanium, traditional titanium and 18-k red gold. And we already can congratulate HYT watch brand with 7 pending patents for this watch.
Hopefully, Ariel Adams says the Hydro Mechanical Watch HYT H1 in titanium will cost about $45,000. Not too much for a hydraulic wonder like this!
