Cool vintage watches cost thousands dollars, released in limited editions and very often spotted at Auctions. Many of watch collectors have more than one vintage watch in their collections.

Elgin Vintage U.S. Navy Watch (1950)
This rare Elgin US Navy watch is dated to World War II. The watch was made in 1950 year. The vintage diving watch fits with waterproof stainless steel solid case with screw-down cover and additional protection for the crown. The dust cover provides a good protection for the Elgin 647 manual wind movement. The dial has a black center with luminous numbers and luminous hands. It is hard to see on the photo but the dial is signed Elgin “USN BUSHIPS”. The approximate price is $3,999.

Patek Philippe 18K gold chronograph wristwatch (1955)
Patek Philippe is well known watch brand and one of the oldest one. A lot of timepieces were sold at auctions with heights prices and this watch was sold at Christie’s auction for $119,303. This Patek Philippe vintage watch ref. 1463 is very rare and was made in 1955. The wristwatch is featured with nickel-finished lever movement, 2 subdials for constant seconds and 30min register, 35mm gold case and 23 jewels.

Vintage Louis Cartier Tank Platinum watch (1929)
Louis Cartier Platinum Tank watch (ref. 21946) in 2010 set a record price for vintage watch. The watch was manufactured in 1929 and sold at Patrizzi&Co Auction in New York for $135,000. The reason for the price lies in the platinum bracelet and original fitted morocco box. Despite of the fact that this Cartier Tank Platinum vintage watch was sold for more than double of its estimated price, it is still considered to be the most expensive vintage watch in the world with one of the most complicated mechanisms Cartier ever made.

Vintage Rolex Split Seconds Chronograph Ref.4113 (1942)
This Vintage Rolex watch Ref.4113 is rarest and most valuable Rolex watch was made in 1942. The Rolex Ref.4113 is considered the most expensive Rolex watch ever sold at auction. In May 2011 at Christie’s Auction it was sold for $1,176 million and set a new world record for the most expensive Rolex watch.
Only 12 of this cool vintage watch were made, but survived only 8 of them and on every piece engraved numbers 051313 – 051324.
