Eva Longoria and Tony Parker‘s wedding ceremony is going to take place this Saturday in a 17th century chateau. The special atmosphere of the place was chosen as a film double for the Sun King’s Versailles.
Tony Parker seems not to be excited by all the wedding arrangements as he is already sick and tired of all the talks that have lasted for over seven months. He simply says ‘it’s a girl’s day’. The basketball player denied rumors that their wedding cake is being delivered from the USA.
The Vaux-le-Vicomte palace is located amid sumptuous gardens 50km from Paris. Being smaller than its most famous royal rival, it fascinates by its style and splendor and is available for hiring. The settings of Vaux-le-Vicomte have been used for dozens of films, including the Roger Moore Bond movie Moonraker to Sophie Coppola’s Marie Antoinette.
Mindy Weiss, Beverly Hills wedding planner for the celebrity couple, she came up with the idea to choose Vaux-le-Vicomte location for the wedding after Eva Longoria mentioned she wanted a ‘fancy wedding’ and was captured by the romantic atmosphere of France.
The couple keeps a secret the names found on their guest list, though the celebration is expected to be joined by Longoria’s co-stars from Desperate Housewives, Lionel Richie, Jamie Foxx, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
There have circulated unconfirmed rumors that Parker invited his best friend and Spurs point guard Boris Diaw to become his best man. The basketball player who earlier released a hip-hop album in France did not confirm the news that he is going to give a wedding-day rap performance either.
As for rights given to the wedding photographs, the couple have been in negotiations with OK! magazine for an amazing fee of $2.3 million.
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are believed to spend the honeymoon in a luxury Paris hotel.
