Gucci fashion house has chosen 50 years old photos for its new watch spring 2010 Advertising Campaign.
Beautiful black and white pictures for Gucci Watch Spring 2010 Advertising Campaign were taken from the Gucci archives. Of course you may ask what the maid is on the pictures. You may even think at first that it is one of the modern models shot on the black and white backdrop. But it is not so.
Dating back to the ’60s photos were layered with an image of Gucci’s new timepiece. They reflect the world’s first supermodel, a playmate of Hollywood stars and a pioneer in the art of body painting –Vera Gräfin von Lehndorff-Steinort or simply Veruschka.
Veruschka in her floppy hat and Gucci logo-adorned bags looks so elegant and brings that inimitable chic to the new Gucci watch, which is pretty too.
“The images featured in this campaign are some of my favorites from the Gucci archive,” said creative director Frida Giannini. “They perfectly illustrate not only the glamour of Gucci’s past and the many style icons who were naturally drawn to the house, but also show how this heritage can be relevant today.”
This spring Gucci Watch Advertising Campaign proved again the meaning of timeless beauty. And of course Veruschka helped to do it the best way!
