At Baselworld 2010 Zenith horology presented some surprising new watch models – the Ultra Thin 681and El-Primero Striking 1/10th watch. Since that very time Zenith horology started for its zenith.
In 2011 Zenith has launched a brand new wristwatch collection Zenith El–Primero Stratos Flyback Watches. Zenith El-Primero Stratos Flyback timepiece collection includes Stratos Flyback Striking 1/10th, Stratos Flyback and a special limited edition of 500 – the Stratos Flyback Johan Nilson.
The watch models from new Zenith El–Primero Stratos Flyback collection fit a modern black ceramic bezel and the specific “adventure” look, which corresponds to the watch model name. This special edition was created in collaboration with explorer John Nilson. Having subdial it features the needs of a real adventure lover. The 45.5 mm diameter case is available in different metals. To my mind the rose gold “Alchron” (simply a DLC finish) steel case is the most preferable for this model.
The Zenith wristwatches are proud of having their own Zenith’s movement precise to 1/10th of a second – Zenith’s El-Primero 4057B caliber and the simpler El-Primero 405B column-wheel chronograph movement. Price for the new Zenith Stratos Flybacks watch collection starts at around $10,000.
Thus introduced by the CEO Jean-Frédéric Dufour the watch models described beneath started Zenith’s well thought move back to its roots. Its appearance at Baselworld with such fantastic models cry out that Zenith continues its 100% focus on becoming a real power horology house in that industry, playing to Zenith’s technical capabilities such as the legendary El-Primero movement. Going on with the right course the brand horology house will soon reach it’s zenith.
